Former baseball player at The Ohio State University, Wes Schirtzinger is the founder and owner of Diamond Speed and Agility. Over the years, Wes has established himself as the “go to” instructor for youth and college athletes seeking to take their game on the diamond to the next level.
Wes is a 2002 graduate of Westerville North High school and received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University in 2007. His resume as a player includes the following:
- Named All State shortstop while at Westerville North High School
- First Team All-Big-Ten at Ohio State
- First Team All- Regional tournament team honors at Ohio State
- Baseball America tabbed Wes as the 7th best pro prospect coming out of the Clark Griffith Collegiate Wood Bat Summer League in 2005.
Wes currently resides in Westerville, Ohio with his wife and son. He is certified through the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA) as a youth fitness specialist and youth speed and agility specialist. His instruction includes speed and agility, performance vision training, and baseball/ softball instruction in both private and group settings.
